YAN WAGNER releases his new album Æther — release party on June 17 in Paris!

Released this Friday, April 3, Æther, Yan Wagner’s new album, marks a new chapter in the artist’s singular journey. Following Forty Eight Hours, This Never Happened and Couleur Chaos, he returns with a freer and more daring record, blending rock, electronic music and 90s influences — from jungle to drum’n’bass — in the lineage of artists such as The Chemical Brothers or Massive Attack.

Written between Marseille and Paris, Æther breaks away from conventional structures. Yan Wagner favors an almost handcrafted approach to sound, built from reworked recordings, samples and sonic collages. Surrounded in particular by Malik Djoudi and Moroccan singer Meryem Aboulouafa, he shapes a dense and adventurous album where digital synths, strings and unexpected instruments intertwine.

Through its tracks, Æther explores our relationship to time, technology and the future, sketching a sensitive portrait of a world in transformation where music remains a meeting point between human and machine.

Yan Wagner will perform live at La Maroquinerie in Paris on Wednesday, June 17.
