Since the release of his first EP Through The Circles and his participation in the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, La Mverte (Alexandre Berly) has built a career at the crossroads of studio work and live performance. Between his solo projects, the band Taste with Yan Wagner, and the creation of cine-concerts for the Cinémathèque Française, he explores a music that is at once post-punk, psychedelic, dub-influenced and experimental, always rooted in rhythm and dance.
On stage, La Mverte performs as a duo, joined by a guitarist who complements the vintage synthesizers that have defined his live shows since the beginning. This compact setup delivers tracks from his latest release alongside earlier material with sharp efficiency: punchy drum machines, tight basslines, and cutting guitars.
In DJ sets, La Mverte ventures across a wide spectrum of directions and atmospheres. With over 18 years of experience behind the decks, he has built a rich and diverse collection of records, spanning Techno, House, Acid, as well as New Beat, Synthwave, EBM, Post-Punk, Experimental, and Dub, especially in warm-up contexts.
