IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LMP MUSIQUE
Raised between Auckland and Nantes, Elise Bourn started improvising music as a child with her pianist father.
A self-taught artist, she built her own instruments, recorded herself, and dreamed of releasing an album.
Her career took off thanks to the MuMA contest and the Collectif Ôpera.
When lockdown hit, she turned her bedroom into a studio and wrote a song a day.
That spark gave birth to Covenant—a raw, radiant debut folk album.
Drawing from 60s–70s icons (The Beatles, Joni Mitchell) and modern folk (This is the Kit), Elise crafted an intimate, deep sound.
Artists like Timothy Bright and Baptiste Brondy helped shape the record.
Mastered in New York, Covenant reflects the voice of a bold, free-spirited artist.
