At the heart of Décollage, Requin Chagrin’s fourth album, lies a question every artist eventually faces: how do you reinvent yourself without betraying who you are? Marion Brunetto chose to trust her instincts. She left Paris, hit the road, and turned her teenage bedroom in Ramatuelle into a temporary studio. Surrounded by synths, guitars and drum machines, she reconnected with the essence of Requin Chagrin and let the music lead the way.
Between solitary work sessions, time spent in the legendary Motorbass and Ferber studios, and the supportive presence of Nicola Sirkis, the album gradually took shape. On this record, Marion Brunetto takes on every role — songwriter, composer, performer, musician and producer — ensuring the artistic coherence that has defined Requin Chagrin since the very beginning.
With Décollage, Requin Chagrin delivers a luminous album where reverb-drenched guitars meet new wave synths, driven by the energy of youth and a sense of artistic freedom. Gravity defeated, take-off successful.
