DAVID SHAW AND THE BEAT

Originally from Manchester, David Shaw was shaped by the punk, rave, and garage countercultures that defined his teenage years.

A fiery and unclassifiable artist, he has produced electronic music under the alias Siskid, been a member of the group Blackstrobe, collaborated with Vitalic and Jennifer Cardini, and captivated international audiences with his band DBFC. But it is as a solo artist, under the name David Shaw And The Beat, that he asserts his identity, instinctively blending cold wave, techno, and industrial pop.
